VOGUE'S BREAST REST

Vogue UK has declared that boobies are taking a break - something that I have been personally looking forward to yet the topic seemed to oddly outrage women around the world. After reading numerous tweets and comments of defensive women getting personally offended by the idea, I thought I’d better read the article myself to see what all the fuss is about.
Surprise, surprise - women are taking the absolute wrong message out of this (half of which probably haven't even read the article!)To my disappointment, I see this happen all too often with people who are narrow minded on the internet - preaching like they’re all about the greater good yet doing much more harm by taking messages out of context, misinforming and storytelling.
As a woman with small breasts I am actually very happy with my shape but I can also severely sympathize with women who have small breasts and aren’t happy with the way their body is. In today’s society we teach our women objectification and sexualization, trying our hardest to mask the fact that if men did not exist - half of many women’s wardrobes wouldn’t either.  I am lucky to have met a man that makes me feel like I am a gorgeous gal even though I have bee stings on my chest haha! Everyday my concern grows for the women of the world who (like me) cannot stand men, especially old wrinkly ones, to be gawking at their chest instead of acknowledging them as a person. These are the kind of women Vogue has so obviously written their editorial about - the women of the world who don’t need to sexualize themselves to be a strong person or to be loved by a man. We need to remember our roots and dress for visual appeal not sexual appeal. Unless you’re into girls, as a woman, I don’t see why you’d want to be looking at other girls titties all day..... Maybe its me but I just really, really like clothes way more than boobs...

In my personal opinion (strong emphasis on personal) I think Vogue is trying to awaken women, to empower them through the thought of not having to have your breasts on full show to feel good about your appearance- like open your eyes ladies, have you not had a look at how beautiful every single Zimmerman piece is?! They are not trying to say that having boobs is unfashionable - Vogue is seemingly attempting to bring the classiness back to how women present themselves to the world and acknowledge the women who are taking part in this action.

So on that note, I have left a few images to spark your imagination and give you some cleavage-less inspiration - enjoy. XXX
